However, one of the noticeable changes that can be observed in human resource function after the covid 19 pandemic in Travel and Tourism Industry is drastic changes in health and safety protocols. According to "World Travel & Tourism Council" (WTTC) protocols have been updated after the covid 19 pandemic. Refer below.

  2. Thanks for your insightful comment! You're absolutely right, the pandemic has changed how HR needs to work in the travel industry.

The new health and safety rules from the WTTC are a big deal, and HR has to make sure everyone knows and follows them. This means more training and making sure employees understand the importance of safety for both themselves and travelers.

It's also important to be flexible and adaptable, as things are still changing. HR can help by creating a supportive and understanding work environment.

By focusing on health and safety, the travel industry can build trust with customers and come back stronger than ever. The #safetravels initiative is a great example of this collaborative effort, and it's clear that everyone in the industry is working together to make travel safe and enjoyable for everyone.

  4. Employees serve as the primary point of contact for customers or users of travel and leisure services. But, in order for an organization to maximize staff utilization, managers need to be well-trained in managing, supervising, and organizing workers and the labor they supply. Therefore, the crucial transformational component that aids in transforming employees' abilities and skills into outputs like client satisfaction and high-quality services is people management. Employee motivation and satisfaction are two more important outcomes. Good people managers must recognize the value of employee motivation since higher employee satisfaction improves inputs and, consequently, outputs, which in turn improves the operations function. (Gill-McLure and Firth, 2018)
